The City That Drowned (DEMO)
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
An abandoned city rising out of the ocean, and silence but the sound of the crashing waves. Can you uncover the secrets of this place, and discover what really happened to the city that drowned?
{This is the first chapter of a game currently in development.}
The City That Drowned is the first game I've ever made, and while it's only a demo for now, I'm very excited to share it with you! It was made in 14 days and mostly the work of one person (me!) (although I had a friend make the music for me).
It was made for charlmes's Game Jam; "I Can't Draw But I Really Want To Make A Game" and I hope the terrible artwork I present you with in this game speaks for itself!
Enjoy, and please feel free to tell me what you think of it, even if it's criticism! Being my first game , I have lot of room for improvement!
Thanks for checking it out!

The setting and story is interesting. In this format, the game plays like a walking sim of sorts. There's not anything to do except uncover clues to the story. Very nice and calm music, totally opposite to the dread in the descriptions. I don't think there's an ending?
Nice, I love the lovecraftian vibe and your drawing is nice, the rooms look like decent pixel art which I like.
Interesting game. The music is so calm but the atmosphere is morbid ugh. Cool.
